Lac La Martre Adventures is 100% Indigenous owned by Tłı̨chǫ Adventures Ltd.
We invite guests to embark on an unforgettable trophy fishing experience under the midnight sun or the magic of the Aurora Borealis in the pristine and remote wilderness of the Northwest Territories. This remote fly-in fishing lodge is on Clemy Island, within the secluded shores of Lac La Martre, the third largest lake in in the Northwest Territories at 1,000 square miles.

Our 3-night Aurora Viewing Packages offer the perfect blend of natural wonders, outdoor activities, wildlife viewing, and expert guidance for an unforgettable journey under the northern lights.

The lodge neighbors of the nearby Tłı̨chǫ Dene community of Whatì.
The area has long been traditional hunting and fishing grounds for the people who have and do reside here. Guests will fly-in from the capital of the Northwest Territories, Yellowknife.
Accommodations are thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy, featuring nine private cabins that can host up to a total of 20 guests. Each cabin sleeps 2 to 4 people and are equipped with modern amenities, including a private bathroom and shower.
The main lodge is equipped with modern amenities for your corporate retreat, such as a 55” TV and Starlink internet connection with Wi-Fi.

Which is why the fishing guide-to-guest ratio is an impressive 1:2, ensuring optimal fishing opportunities, safety, and support for anglers of all skill levels. Fishing equipment can provided or you can bring your own (with barbless hooks). We practice catch and release for all fish…except for your lunch!
