Getting to Lac La Martre Lodge requires an overnight stay in Edmonton or Yellowknife. You'll need to arrive at the floatplane base in Yellowknife by 10:00 am on the day of your trip. We'll take over from there.
The floatplane trip, which takes less than an hour, offers magnificent views of some of the most remote country in the world. Upon your arrival you'll be greeted by our courteous staff and given a brief orientation before settling into your cabin. After that, you'll meet your guide and go on your first day of trophy fishing!
Supper on day one will be mouth watering fresh fish cooked shore side over an open fire. You too will begin to understand why Lac La Martre clients so often use the term, "Like No Other Place on Earth".
