The Lodge
at Lac La Martre
Lac La Martre Lodge is located in the Northwest Territories of Canada, 125 miles northwest of Yellowknife, made famous by the TV show "Ice Road Truckers". The lake is 1,000 sq. miles of cold, clear, arctic fed water with countless bays and islands.

The Lodge is located on an island near the center of the lake, accessible only by floatplane. The camp offers seven very comfortable guest cabins, a main lodge and dining room, and a central shower house. Nope, not a dude ranch, no water slides, just warm comfortable quarters, great food, hosts that aim to please, and the best damn fishing in the world!

Our season, which is limited to only 9 weeks, runs from the end of June through August. Because personal service is of utmost importance to the Lac La Martre experience, we take ONLY 12 GUESTS EACH WEEK allowing us to give each and every one of them the fishing experience they’ve always dreamed of and memories that will last a lifetime.
